A totally different direction...

So I've been thinking about how we could all stay together so that some of us weren't in Vero and some of us in Orlando and some in Tampa and some in Daytona and I think I may have found a way!!! This idea would totally scratch the Chapel and Tavern and the wedding in the garden but this could still be really beautiful and nice too! So I found this house to rent: Sleeps 12 with a hottub and pool and a yard looking over the ocean, 2 game rooms for the kiddo's, and a fitness room and a huge kitchen!! And the price is right at just $1,400 a week! Jiovanni and I could get married at the house and we would just have to find a pastor that would be willing to come to the house to marry us.

Possible change...

K ladies I need to know what you think. I found this dress on J.crew.com and I really love it. The black is $150 but the green is only $49.00!!! They have lots of sizes so we should be in good shape! If you all like it too then I'm in!

Please let me know soon so that I can have everyone order together. We still have plenty of time so if you don't like it please be honest, my feelings won't be hurt.

This is what the guys will be in so you would still coordinate :)

The Music...

I haven't talked to Jiovanni about any of these yet, and I know he will definetly want a say in this part. But this is what I've been listening to so far. I'm sure I will change my mind a million times between now and October :-\

Music...

A little Michael Buble for the walk back up the isle.

Family

Jiovanni and I would love to share our dream wedding with everyone we love. Unfortunatly we just can't!! Our parents, siblings and grandparents will be the only ones coming down to Florida for the ceremony. In August of 2012 we will be having a party in buffalo to celebrate with everyone. It was either stop at our immediate family or invite all 300 of you. Which we would LOVE but we can't have the wedding we want if we keep letting our numbers grow. We love you all and can't wait to celebrate with you NEXT summer! We promise it will be a great time :)

Love,
US

Flower Girl...or FLOWER GIRLS?!?!?!

I talked with Krista on Saturday about my neice Lilee pulling Annie girl in a wagon or maybe holding hands if Annie will cooperate. So you know what that means? Finding two of the cutest dresses in the world for the two sweetest girls in the world! I love my nieces to pieces :) We will probably have to wait until the summer to find a dress for the two of them but this is what I've been looking at so far...

I found this website and it made me want to have a million little girls so that I could put them in these dresses!

http://web.me.com/teaprincess/web.me.com_teaprincess/Summer_Girls.html

They are a little pricey at $250 a piece!!!

So I've been looking on etsy.com and found some adorable dresses and headpieces that are less expensive.

Hope they are as excited as me :-)

The menu...

We have decided to have a small dinner for all of our guests following the ceremony at a place called The Chart House in Daytona. Jiovanni and I had dinner there once 2 years ago and it was some of the best food I've ever had. It is right next to a marina so it's fun to watch all of the boats come and go. I haven't talked to the coordinator yet but I would like to do a long table to seat all 25 of us so that we can all talk and sit with each other! We need to pick three choices from the entree section and we need some help!

The ceremony...

I wanted to find a spot that was beautiful and beachy and this spot couldn't be more perfect. It is on the Halifax river just 5 minutes from Jiovanni's house. The women we are working with are so wonderful and very helpful. The Tavern and Chapel is set on 10 acre's of land and you can have an outdoor or indoor wedding if weather doesn't cooperate. We are going to have it in the gazebo with white candles lining the walkway.

The flowers...

I'm not dead set on these. I was thinking I would like my bouquet to have a lot of really big flowers, all white and cream and greens but now I am thinking that I would like splashes of bright red in there too. Anyways here are a few of the ideas so far...

The Hair...

I've been growing my hair long for the past few years and I've always had dark hair. I know that everyone says that you still want to look like yourself on your wedding day but I think I want to start going lighter. Add a few highlights starting now until the wedding for a FRESH look instead of drab and dark. We'll see, I'm not set on any certain style yet and I'm open to suggestions but these are the idea's I have so far...
